Three former federal prosecutors have joined forces to create a South Florida white-collar litigation firm, Marcus Neiman & Rashbaum.
The firm was formed by Jeff Neiman, a former Justice Department tax attorney who was practicing solo in Fort Lauderdale; Jeff Marcus, most recently a partner at Kenny Nachwalter in Miami; and Dan Rashbaum, who worked in the Miami office of Kobre & Kim.
Marcus was with Kenny Nachwalter for six years and launched its white-collar practice. He spent five years in the U.S. attorney’s office in South Florida and specialized in corporate fraud and whistleblower cases.
Neiman, a Justice Department attorney for nine years, was the lead prosecutor in cases against UBS bankers and account holders charged in an offshore tax evasion scheme.
Rashbaum worked for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello in New York before moving to Miami to work as a federal Prosecution.
The new firm has offices in Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
