MNR’s motion for class certification on behalf of lead plaintiff and class representative, Gelt Trading Ltd., was granted by the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah on Friday, Aug. 18. MNR was also appointed lead co-class counsel along with Armstrong Teasdale, LLP and Fasano Law Firm, LLP.
The nationwide security class action filed by MNR and its co-lead counsel alleges that Co-Diagnostics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CODX) and its executives made public statements misrepresenting the accuracy of Co-Diagnostics’ COVID-19 diagnostic test to pump up the price of CODX stock. The court’s class certification order is a significant step towards compensating investors for their multi-million dollar losses.
