Michael Pineiro Appointed to S.D.Fla. Local Rules Committee
In May, Michael Pineiro, a partner at MNR, was appointed by Chief U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore as a member of the Southern District of Florida Local Rules Committee. The committee, which is comprised of prominent local practitioners and federal judges, is charged with reviewing the District’s local rules and making recommendations to the Court concerning revisions to the rules and the Court’s operating procedures. Michael’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on government enforcement actions (e.g., S.E.C. and CFTC actions) and complex business disputes such as shareholder and investor litigation.
